British pop sensation Dua Lipa will bring her highly anticipated Radical Optimism Tour to Prague next year, performing two back-to-back concerts at the O2 Arena on May 27 and 28, 2025. The announcement was made today by the event organizer, Live Nation. Tickets, starting at CZK, 1,790 will go on sale beginning Sept. 20.

The three-time Grammy Award winner and seven-time Brit Awards champion is set to perform more than 40 shows worldwide, including stops in Australia, New Zealand, North America, Europe, and the UK. The tour supports her third studio album, Radical Optimism, which debuted in May to critical acclaim and commercial success.

The album shot to number one in 11 countries, including the UK, where it achieved the highest weekly sales by a British artist since 2021. In the U.S., it claimed the top spot on the Billboard Top Album Sales chart and debuted at number two on the Billboard 200.

Variety praised the album as "a joyous burst of pop wit," reflecting Lipa’s signature sound while incorporating new influences.

The British-Kosovar artist has been a mainstay on global music charts since her breakout hit New Rules in 2017, which topped the UK charts and solidified her as one of the biggest names in pop music.

Her 2018 collaboration with Calvin Harris, One Kiss, became a global smash, earning her the Brit Award for Song of the Year. In 2021, her album Future Nostalgia won Best British Album at the Brit Awards, alongside her victory for Best Female Artist.

The new 11-track album features a fusion of genres, including trip hop and Britpop, according to music critics. The performer's video for Houdini recently won VMA for best choreography.

Dua Lipa’s Radical Optimism Tour is expected to be one of the biggest pop events of 2025. In an effort to curb ticket scalping, Lipa’s management has implemented a unique ticket distribution policy. Concertgoers will receive their digital and physical tickets no earlier than 48 hours before the event, aiming to limit resale by third parties and ensure that fans can access tickets at face value.

Other top acts recently announced for Prague include Bob Dylan (Oct. 4, 5, and 6 at O2 Universum) and Imagine Dragons (June 9 an 11) which announced this week that they were adding a second Prague show as part of their LOOM World Tour. The American band will return to Letňany Airport where in spring of 2022, they managed to sell out both summer concerts with a total capacity of 120,000 fans.
