The Dante Alighieri Society was established in Rome in 1889 with the aim of "promoting the Italian language and culture throughout the world and rekindling the spiritual connection between Italians living abroad and their homeland and nourishing the love and cult for the Italian civilization among foreigners ".
There are currently 3300 schools established by several branches of the Dante Alighieri Society around the world.
Following the principles which have inspired the founders of this renowned Istitution, the Prague Committee aim to organize the following teaching activities:
Italian language courses for groups and individuals
Preparation courses for the P.L.I.D.A. Certificate (Italian Language Project Dante Alighieri - the only certificate officially recognized by the Presidency of the Italian Republic)
Business Italian courses
Italian language courses for children and mothers
Italian language for tourism
Learning Italian through theatre, cinema and music
Italian language courses for opera singers
Italian language through Italian cooking
Conversation classes
All the courses above are provided for either groups or individuals and can be held at your premises on request.
Besides the teaching activities, the Prague Committee intends to organize lectures, exhibitions, concerts and theme evenings and to provide cultural exchanges and scholarships.
