Metropolitan University Prague (MUP) ranks among the oldest and largest private universities in the Czech Republic. The university offers study programmes in the area of international territorial relations, legal specialisations, media studies, humanities, and international economic relations in both full-time and part-time forms of study in Czech as well as in English (specialisations of Anglophone Studies, International Business, International Relations and European Studies, Asian Studies and International Relations) and currently provides education to approximately
5 300 students. The university also offers preparatory courses of English and Czech for foreigners. MUP has become an attractive institution for students from all over the world with a student body that includes 70 nationalities and a broad range of international cooperation with more than 180 partner universities.

Preparatory language courses of Czech/English
In addition to the Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral Degree study programmes, Metropolitan University Prague offers intensive courses of Czech for Foreigners or of the English language. The courses guarantee high-quality instruction and are designed for applicants who would like to attend university study programmes in the Czech Republic that are taught in Czech or in English. The courses are designed to ensure rapid improvement of the students and the instructors are recruited from the ranks of university professors and professional language instructors.
MUP also offers preparatory English courses for Cambridge examinations (i.e. for the following internationally recognised certificates: PET , FCE, CAE, and CPE).
