The Institute of Informatics is accredited by the Czech Ministry of Education. It offers full-time three year degrees in information science.In addition, the IIVOS Professional Certification Program offers certificates in technical communications, software quality assurance, and software project management.Located near the Nove Butovice metro station in modern facilities, IIVOS provides students and faculty with up-to-date hardware and software. In 2006, IIVOS was one of twelve international winners of the HP Technology in Teaching Grant.
