Actor Chris Hemsworth is back in Prague, filming for the upcoming action-thriller “Extraction 2” film, due to be released in the spring or summer of 2023. A few days ago he shared a video in which he pretends to greet fans at a surprisingly deserted Prague Castle.

He had previously visited Prague in late 2021 to shoot for the movie, and has now returned to the city for reshoots.

Hemsworth is best known for his role as Thor in the Marvel movies, and has also starred in action films like “Star Trek,” “Men in Black," and the thriller “A Perfect Getaway.”

Filming for "Extraction 2" had originally been planned in Hemsworth's native Australia, but producers decided that Prague was a better location owing to the then-deteriorating Covid-19 situation in Australia and associated lockdowns.

Hemsworth returns as the combative Tyler Rake, a former soldier and current black-market mercenary, in the second movie installment of what had been one of Netflix's most-watched original films.

Hemsworth is not the only celebrity actor in town. Movie starts Keanu Reeves and Ana de Armas are also currently in Prague, for work on the upcoming "Ballerina" film, a John Wick spin-off.
