Rock for People returns to Park 360 in Hradec Králové from June 10–14, transforming the former military airport into one of Europe’s largest temporary music cities. This year’s five-day edition is headlined by Gorillaz, Limp Bizkit, Bring Me The Horizon, Halsey, and Iron Maiden, one of the most ambitious lineups in the festival’s history.

Across the five days, the festival will host more than 150 international acts, also including Electric Callboy, Megadeth, The Pretty Reckless, Papa Roach, Trivium, and The Wombats, turning Park 360 into a dense, multi-genre marathon of rock, metal, and alternative music.

For international visitors in Czechia, the festival is not only one of the country’s biggest cultural events but also a large-scale logistical operation that requires some preparation. Organizers continue to expand infrastructure and introduce changes aimed at reducing queues, improving comfort, and modernizing the site experience.

A growing festival city at Park 360

Once again, the festival grounds will operate as a self-contained city, with expanded infrastructure, food zones, campsites, and transport links. Organizers say the site has been enlarged by an additional 32,000 square meters near the main stage, creating more space for crowd movement, relaxation zones, and food courts.

Improvements also include expanded flooring around main stages, additional shade areas, and upgraded sound systems with delay towers designed to improve audio coverage across the site.

Water and sanitation systems have also been significantly upgraded. Working with infrastructure partners, the festival has redesigned its water distribution system and increased the number of toilets and showers. Drinking water capacity has been expanded, with new treatment technologies supplying the campsite.

Getting there: train, bike, or shared ride

Hradec Králové is accessible by train and bus from Prague and other major Czech cities, and a Rock for People shuttle will transport people from the city center to the Park 360 festival grounds throughout the festival. More details here.

Organizers are again promoting sustainable transport options. Shared bikes from Nextbike will be available at multiple stations, including the city center, campsite, and parking zones, with free rides of up to 45 minutes.

A new ride-sharing initiative, Yedem, also allows festivalgoers to connect with others traveling to the event, encouraging carpooling and reducing emissions. Participants who arrive together in groups can also enter special prize draws.

Parking, camping, and where you sleep

Drivers are required to purchase parking passes in advance, as on-site availability is not guaranteed. Organizers stress that sleeping in cars in standard parking areas is strictly prohibited for safety reasons.

Instead, visitors must use designated campsites or the dedicated caravan area. Camps range from basic tent spaces to more comfortable glamping options. Facilities include showers, toilets, charging points, storage lockers, and relaxation zones.

Campsite tickets are sold separately from festival entry, and demand typically rises sharply in the weeks leading up to the event.

Cashless festival and NFC wristbands

Rock for People 2026 will again operate as a fully cashless festival. All payments inside the venue — including food, drinks, lockers, showers, and charging — are made using NFC wristbands linked to the NFCtron system.

The wristband also serves as the entry ticket. Visitors can top up credit in advance or directly during the festival via a mobile app, reducing queues at on-site top-up points.

After each purchase, vendors display the transaction and remaining balance on a terminal, while users can track all spending in real time through the official festival app.

Food, drink, and festival essentials

Food options are a major part of the festival experience, with organizers highlighting the festival shop with an expanded international selection across the site. Vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options will be widely available.

Beer lovers can expect an unusually broad selection, with 138 different beer varieties on tap across the festival grounds. Selected brewery zones will be designed as themed hangars, offering shaded seating and dedicated tasting areas.

A breakfast zone operates in the morning hours, offering fresh produce and basic grocery options. Additional 24-hour facilities include a late-night shop for essentials.

Outside food and drinks are not allowed inside the main concert area, although campers may bring their own supplies into designated camping zones.

Comfort upgrades and on-site services

Organizers are introducing several new comfort-focused upgrades this year, including increased toilet and shower capacity and redesigned water systems. A new WashPoint service by Samsung will also allow attendees to wash and dry clothing during the festival, targeting multi-day visitors staying on site.

A dedicated women’s hygiene zone will offer improved sanitary facilities, and medical services will operate 24/7. Health staff can also store prescription medication in cooled conditions if needed.

Security, emergency services, and trained staff will be present throughout the site. Organizers also emphasize a zero-tolerance approach to harassment, with support teams available for reporting and assistance.

Apps, schedules, and planning your days

The official Rock for People app for iOS and Android acts as the central planning tool for attendees. It includes personalized line-up scheduling, interactive maps, and real-time updates about performances, meet-and-greets, and afterparties.

With more than 150 acts across multiple stages, planning ahead is essential, particularly for those trying to balance overlapping sets across major headliners and smaller stage discoveries.

Final tips before you go

Visitors are advised to prepare for variable weather conditions, bringing sun protection, rain gear, and warm clothing for nighttime temperatures. Comfortable footwear is essential, especially for those moving between stages and camping areas.

Important items include ID, health insurance card, and a valid ticket. Valuables are best left at home or stored in secure lockers on site.

With its expanded infrastructure, impressive lineup, and five full days of programming, Rock for People 2026 is set to be one of the largest editions in the festival’s history. Make sure to be fully prepared before you head out to the fest.
