Who among us hasn’t dreamt of living the high life on Prague’s ritzy Pařížská street? For those with Prague 1 aspirations on a Prague 11 budget the time has come to fulfill your upmarket real-estate fantasies, if only for the day.

The new project Squat iD23 is opening to the public five apartments in an historic building at Pařížská 23; the flats are “occupied” by fictional Czech families, the profiles of which were utilized as an inspiration for participating designers.

The event, which launched on November 24 and runs through December 22, is organized by on-line architecture and design influencer Insidecor, Prague real estate management, ID Arch studios, SAD, OOOOX and other local designers and architects.

Visitors will have the opportunity to spend time in the glamorous apartments, each presented in a different decorative style from Sophisticated to Atemporal, marveling at the decor and, of course, window shopping for Czech design pieces.

The opportunity to “squat” will take place at a series of organized events which include guided tours (780 CZK) of the building and flats and evening parties; groups can even opt to rent out an entire apartment for holiday gatherings.

Reservations can be made on-line.
