Czechia has introduced a new criminal offence targeting the non-consensual sharing of intimate images, including AI-generated deepfakes. The amendment responds to growing cases of “revenge porn” and digital abuse.

The change, effective from Jan. 1, 2026, closes a gap in Czech criminal law that previously left many victims without clear protection.
