Each week, our editors will be rounding up the best events for the English-speaking community: places to meet new people, test your knowledge, learn something, or just get out of the house.

This week’s calendar runs from June 22-27, with tips for open-air concerts, language-learning meetups, and much more.

LANGUAGE & LEARNING

  • June 22: The Come and Speak Czech meetup at Večernice offers informal language practice over drinks for expats living in Prague.
  • June 24: VědaFest at Vítězné náměstí turns the Prague 5 square into an open-air science lab with 100 interactive exhibits and hands-on activities for children, students, and curious visitors of all ages.
  • June 25: A Czech conversation club meetup at the Municipal Library in Lužiny offers a free, friendly space to practice Czech and discuss everyday life.
  • June 25: Take a Prague Women’s History Walk through Malá Strana and Hradčany, exploring Czech women’s emancipation history and key landmarks.
  • June 27: A Prague Feminist Tours walk through New and Old Town explores Czech women’s emancipation history and key feminist figures.
  • June 27: Prague Zoo marks the International Day of the Tropics with an educational program, animal feedings, and themed activities across the entire zoo.

Art

  • June 24: The Headless Rider exhibition at Prague City Gallery (House at Stone Bell) opens, exploring the Bezhlavý Jezdec art group.
  • June 25: A guided English-language tour of the Hit by News exhibition at DOX with curator Christoph Doswald explores press art from the Nobel collection.

FOR FOODIES

  • June 23-25: Kasárna Karlín will host a food truck featuring Chinese dumplings from restaurant U dračí mámy.
  • June 27: A Golden Hour event at Crisp & Crackle features live music by Noah Tortelli and special sunset food drinks.

COMMUNITY

  • June 22: Czech Television and Czech Radio employees go on strike over funding changes on Monday, and the public is encouraged to wear black to express solidarity.
  • June 25–28: Safe Space Bookstore is closing, but you can celebrate the end of a chapter in Prague with discounted books, drinks, and farewell community events.

Networking

  • June 22: Prague Business Toastmasters celebrate their 700th meeting with a grill party and networking event in Stromovka.
  • June 25: The Uninstall Duolingo language exchange night at Tequila Tales offers relaxed multilingual conversation and socializing in an international group.
  • June 25: Slowdating Praha hosts an English-language guided conversation circle at Cože? for small-talk-free social connections (ages 30–45).

ENTERTAINMENT

  • From June 22: Kinobus returns for the 2026 summer season, with free outdoor movies this week in Čakovice; English-friendly options can be limited, but The Naked Gun plays on June 24.
  • June 22-27: The Prague Proms international music festival presents classical, jazz, and crossover concerts at multiple Prague venues.
  • June 23: Prague Symphony Orchestra performs Dvořák’s Symphony No. 9 during an open-air concert at Vyšehrad conducted by Tomáš Netopil.
  • June 24: A Czech Philharmonic Open Air Concert at Hradčanské Square features classical and film music under Alain Altinoglu with Marek Kozák.
  • June 24: Duran Duran return to Prague’s O2 Arena after 14 years, performing iconic pop and new material as part of their 2026 tour.
  • June 25: The Prague Open Air 2026 music festival kicks off with Kateřina Marie Tichá & Bandjeez at Riegrovy sady's Energy Pub.
  • June 26: Classical, jazz, folk and organ music celebrating Antonín Dvořák comes to Zámek Chvaly in Horní Počernice as part of the Dvořák Festival.
  • June 27: OneRepublic bring their From Europe With Love Tour 2026 to Letňany Airport, performing their biggest pop hits live outdoors in Prague.
  • June 28: The Varhanní Vyšehrad concert series features organ and classical music at Basilica of Sts. Peter and Paul in Vyšehrad.

  • All week: Find out where to watch World Cup 2026 matches across Prague in 45+ bars and venues via the Watch Party map, updated daily.
  • June 26–28: Mystic Sk8 Cup at Mystic Skatepark Štvanice brings a major open-air skateboarding festival with world-class street and bowl competitions, plus live concerts and DJs.

  • June 22: A Game Night presented by Taste of Ethiopia at etCorner in Žižkov features board games, Ethiopian food, drinks, and a relaxed social atmosphere.
  • June 23: Celebrate the release of Toy Story 5 with a Disney Pixar quiz night at Globe Bookstore & Café.
  • June 23: The weekly pub quiz at Philly & Co’s Original Cheesesteaks presents general trivia covering topics from music to sport every Tuesday from 7 p.m.
  • June 24: Quiz Night is back at Brix Hostel Prague Žižkov with on Wednesdays with trivia, free entry, and prizes.
  • June 24: Now in its 17th year, The Globe Quiz Night takes place at Globe Bookstore & Café every Wednesday from 6:30 p.m.
  • June 24: The Under the Sauce Pub Quiz takes place on Wednesdays at Third Coast Pizza in Žižkov, now in an open-air garden for the summer.
  • June 25: The Down Under hosts its weekly pub quiz every Thursday with a relaxed Aussie-themed atmosphere from 7 p.m.
