"THE ACADEMY OF MASK MAKING AND CHARACTOR DESIGN", founded by a multi-Award Winning, Hollywood Makeup-Effects Artist, is a creative learning center focusing on teaching the professional techniques used in Mask Making and Charactor Design.

This exciting and creative program allows the student to take their project from start, through to finished design!
The broad range of materials and possibilities allow for endless fun and creativity in styles and looks.
Courses range from Beginner, Intermediate, to Advanced programs.
The programs are structured to allow the student without any previous experience, to produce a Mask or Charactor, from a variety of mediums.
The instructor and founder is Brian Wade, an Award Winning Hollywood professional, and designer of "Stuart Little" and "Scooby Doo". With over 27 years experience in Film, Television, and Video. You've seen his work in Terminator, Hellboy, Van Helsing, Nightmare on Elm Street, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, X-files, and many more films and TV shows!
The classes will be held once a week on Saturdays. However, they will be concentrated, like an intensive day long workshop. Each session will be 5 weeks long and each class will be 5 hours in duration. The fee for each 5 week session is 7,000Czk. Courses are taught in English. CLASS SIZES ARE LIMITED TO ENSURE PROPER EDUCATION
The "Mask Making and Charactor Design" Class covers the following topics:
Sculpting
Maquette: Armature building & sculpting
Simple Mold making
Airbrush work
Illustration
Painting
Basics of Character Design work
Supplies per student are approximately 1,000Czk. Further details will be given to you on the first day of class.
