Born in Los Angeles, raised in Seattle, Lucien Zell has lived in Prague for 25 years. Poet, novelist, and street photographer, his work has appeared in New Orleans Review, Poetry Salzburg Review, and Tikkun. He is the author of five poetry collections, a Galway Kinnell Fellow, and a recent Pushcart Prize nominee. His novel Invisible Bars has found a devoted audience in Czech translation.
