Tracing the footsteps of songs by Franz Schubert on a journey full of musical and theatrical surprises.
This original musical-theatrical project of the Strings of Autumn Festival and the National Theatre presents famous songs by Franz Schubert in an imaginative shaping by theatrical director Jiří Heřman, creator of the most remarkable Czech operatic stagings of recent years including for example The Miracles of Mary, Parsifal, and Gloriana. It will take place in the cult all-wooden Studio 4 at Barrandov, used by Czech film makers. There will also be a ride on a bicycle, climbing into the heights, playing a violin or a clarinet, and – but that’s a surprise!
