Hot dogs have seen a surge in popularity in Prague over the past two years, with specialty locations like Hot God and Mr. HotDog recently popping up around the Czech capital.

But Eurohotdog, the long-running hot dog company that operates NYC-style hot dog carts at metro stops and other locations around the city, has been making headlines recently for all the wrong reasons.

Two weeks ago, one of Eurohotdog’s vendors at the Anděl metro station was caught in a rather compromising position.

A picture submitted to Blesk.cz show the vendor with his pants down in a squatting position. It’s unclear what exactly had transpired, but you can use your imagination.

Fuj, to je teda fakt nechutnost! Posted by Blesk.cz on Sunday, November 8, 2015

The vendor claimed to be changing his trousers, but company management didn’t seem pleased with the incident or his explanation.

“We have agreed toilets available at each sales location. The stand can be locked up relatively quickly,” Eurohotdog CEO Mark Mudra told Blesk.

A few days after the initial story ran, the vendor was given the sack.

“Prodavač už na Andělu klobásy netlačí,” or Salesman won’t be Pushing Out Sausages, reads the headline on Blesk. ‘Pushing out sausages’ is a Czech euphemism for, well, you get the idea.
