Prague Youth Theatre

Prague Youth Theatre, established in 2011, gives young people the chance to perform in full-scale productions, gain world-renowned theatre qualifications and have fun with drama. PYT provides an opportunity for students to develop a shared sense of confidence, commitment and self-expression.

We teach over 220 students representing 32 different nationalities in Performance Courses, Exam Courses, Drama Gym, School Workshops & Summer Camps.

We enrol twice a year for terms starting in September and January. Students begin rehearsals at the beginning of each term and rehearse weekly for performances in December and June.

We put equal emphasis on the drama process, and the final product and we are passionate about creating performances that excite and challenge our actors, and showcase their strengths and talents.

As a centre of excellence our classes are led by professionally trained teachers. Our students are encouraged to think, question and grow as creative, confident, and successful individuals and to take ownership of, and pride in the exciting work they create together.

Prague Youth Theatre is fully inclusive and open to all. Our free trial sessions are provided for the benefit of the students and their parents, not as a means of auditioning potential members.
