BASIS Beginners Prague

We are an international preschool with a transformative academic program utilizing the concept of Full English Immersion for children from ages 2 to 6. Our teachers inspire our students to attain a love for learning and to help them cultivate their knowledge & skills.

Our mission is to produce excellent outcomes for our students and ensure that they are prepared for primary school by attaining a love for learning and realizing their ability to begin applying the knowledge and skills that we help them cultivate.

BASIS Beginners Prague is part of the BASIS Curriculum School network, which raises the standards of education for preschool through the 12th grade to the highest international levels.
BASIS Beginners Prague is not a standalone program. Rather, it is the exclusive entry point into a school community - BASIS International School Prague.

The BASIS Curriculum Early Education Program is designed to utilize the curiosity, energy, and ability of children—and take it to the next level.

Our teachers create a vibrant learning environment to involve children in the joys of acquiring knowledge and in becoming self-assured. They are experienced in teaching young children. They focus equally on the social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development of their students.

The primary language at our preschool is English. We accept students regardless of what their native language is. Our Lead Teachers are native English speakers, and all administrative staff and Teaching Fellows are fluent in both English and Czech.
