January 10: Kylesa (USA)/ Sierra (USA)/ Jagged Vision (NOR)
Rock Café, Praha
American sludge metal band, Kylesa, are returning to Prague with their last album, Ultraviolet. An inspirational piece about pushing the limits and reaching out for more, that goes hand in hand with the new year resolutions spirit!

January 13: Krobak (UKR)/ Voida (IKR)/ Meccaverius Society
Klubovna, Praha
Ingenious post-rock bank from Ukraine, whose music is the result of what they call the 3 M’s unity: Melancholy, Melody, Minimalism. Warmly recommended!

Radio Wave in cooperation with Stimul Festival is celebrating its 8th Birthday, by bringing you a selection of newest progressive artists nowaday, such as: Actress (UK), Rudi Zygadlo (UK), Ink Midget (SK) and FNTM (CZ).

January 20: The Vibrators (UK) + Plexis
Lucerna Music Bar, Praha
Legendary British punk rock band are now touring with their newest album On the Guest List and Prague is on their list. As in the previous year, Plexis will join them on stage.

January 20: Clarinet Factory (CZ)
Nová scéna Národního divadla, Praha
Clarinet Factory is a complex and ambitious project of the three clarinetists and one bass clarinetist: Jindřich Pavliš, Luděk Boura, Vojtěch Nýdl and Petr “Pepino” Valášek. Their music includes genres like classical muzic, jazz, ethno, electronics and minimalism.

January 22: Slim Cessna’s Auto Club (USA) + The Moonshine Howlers
Lucerna Music Bar, Praha
This concert might get your night out of the ordinary due to the band‘s odd musical style. Based on alternative country music mixed with country blues and southern gospel, the band is sometimes labeled as country gothic, because of their combination of apocalyptic religious imagery with stories of alcohol and violence.

January 23: Terry Lee Hale with band (USA) + Aran Epochal
Potrvá, Praha
Terry Lee Hale is an American singer and songwriter, whose music is characterized by acoustic plays, mostly with open tunings. His debut song Dead is Dead was highlighted on theSub Pop 200 compilation.

January 24: Michael Bublé
O2 Arena, Praha
Multiple Grammy Award winner, Michael Bublé, is marking a new premiere in Czech Republic with his first concert in Prague. World-wide appreciated, Bublé has just released his 8th studio album, To be Loved, in 2013, which he will be bringing to Prague! Don’t miss this month’s concert!

January 24: Laurent Garnier (FR)
Roxy, Praha
Techno lovers gather around, for this is an event you should not miss!  Experienced techno music producer and Dj, Laurent Garnier is coming to Prague to electrify your life and shake your worries off!

January 27: Fanfare Ciocarlia (RO)
Lucerna Music Bar, Praha
Fanfara Ciocarlia is a balkan big band of gypsies from Romania. The rhythmic richness of their music will come as an explosion of full and strong sounds, which you will hardly anticipate! You will dance, you will smile and you will get to know some of the gypsy culture as it is! Highly recommended concert!

January 29: Dream Theater (USA)
Tipsport Arena, Praha
Dream Theater is a great, well respected progressive metal band from USA, with a history of almost 30 years. After the successful release in 2011 of their album A Dramatic Tour of Events, Dream Theater have released a new self-titled album in the autumn of 2013 and are now starting a world wide tour! Warmly recommened concert!
