If you attended Monday’s Navalis celebrations at Charles Bridge early Monday evening, you might have caught quite the sight.
Daredevil skydiver Mark Rahbani leapt from a plane above Prague, opened a small parachute, and swept underneath Charles Bridge, leaving a trail of sparks behind him.
The technique is called “swooping”: precisely piloting small parachutes at high speeds. Rahbani flew underneath the bridge at an estimated 100 kilometers per hour before landing in the water on the other side.
