“This monumental 50th anniversary European Tour will come off the heels of Aerosmith’s wildly popular Las Vegas residency, Aerosmith: Deuces Are Wild, which kicked off April 6, 2019, and currently continues through June 4, 2020,” the band said in announcinf the tour.

“The over 50-date residency at the Park MGM has already earned the group a #1 spot on Billboard’s Boxscore Chart and #2 on the Hot Tours Chart,” the band added..

They have won four
Grammy Awards for the songs “Pink,” “Crazy,” “Livin’ on
the Edge,” and “Janie’s Got A Gun.” They also have American
Music Awards, six Billboard Awards, 12 MTV Video Music Awards, Run
DMC’s version of “Walk This Way,” featuring Tyler and Perry, won
a Soul Train Award for Best Rap Single.

The band has 15 studio albums, the most recent of which was 2012’s Music from Another Dimension! They found international fame in 1975 with their third album, Toys in the Attic, which aside from the title track contained the top 40 hits “Sweet Emotion” and “Walk This Way.” This album was followed in 1976 by Rocks, which had mixed reviews when it was released but is nopw considered a classic.

The
band’s music from the 1970s and ’80s was a moor influence on
bands like Gun N’ Roses, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, and Stone Temple
Pilots.

Since
2015, the band has been discussing the possibility of a farewell tour
that would last two years or more. The recently announced dates,
though, are not balled as a farewell.

Perry in January 2019 said the band was about to start recording material for a new album, but no title or release date has been announced yet, and it’s unclear if the anniversary tour will have any new material or instead rely on past hits.
