For the school year 2026/2027, BASIS Prague International School is seeking a full-time Teaching Fellow for Levels 1 – 7 (children from 5-13 years of age).
A Teaching Fellow’s main responsibilities include substituting teachers/staff, monitoring and supporting students in a variety of activities throughout the day and acting as an assistant teacher. This role is an excellent opportunity for aspiring educators who want hands-on classroom experience in an international school environment and a pathway toward future teaching roles.
Start date: August 3, 2026
Campus: Bubeneč (Prague 6)
What You’ll Do
Support teachers in daily classroom activities
Supervise and engage students throughout the school day
Serve as a substitute teacher when needed
Supervise students during non-academic activities (lunch,snack, morning/after-school program)
Help create a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment
Gain valuable experience with the internationally recognized BASIS curriculum and school model
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree or higher
Legal authorization to work in the Czech Republic
Fluent English communication skills (spoken and written)
Creativity, reliability, flexibility, and a positive attitude toward working with children
Experience working with children ages 5–10
Understanding of elementary education and child development
