We are looking for an organized, proactive, hardworking individual with excellent communication skills and growth potential to join our team in the Czech Republic in the role of Operations Assistant.

This position offers the potential for growth within CAS Trips for the right candidate. Individuals who demonstrate initiative, leadership capabilities, and strong alignment with our mission may be considered for expanded responsibilities or future advancement opportunities across various departments within the organization.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist Destination Managers with miscellaneous tasks related to trip planning, including but not limited to organization of activities, accommodations, transportation, and meals.

  • Manage ad hoc planning, booking and organization of all logistical aspects of CAS Trips.

  • Establish relationships with local service partners, restaurant managers, accommodation providers, transport companies, activity partners, NGOs etc.

  • Complete general administration tasks to support the operations team.

  • Conduct research to identify new vendors, destinations, and activities that align with company offerings.

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive and organized database of partner contact information, including vendors, guides, and local service providers, ensuring it is up-to-date and easily accessible.

  • Collaborate with the operations team on various tasks, fostering strong internal communication and teamwork.

  • Monitor and manage inventory for tour supplies and materials, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.

  • Support operational problem-solving, ensuring solutions are found quickly and professionally in collaboration with the team

Requirements for the role:

  • Native-level or C2 fluency in written and spoken English.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build trust and maintain professional relationships with both clients and suppliers.

  • Prior experience in a client-facing role involving direct communication with customers or suppliers

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Flexibility and willingness to adapt to evolving role responsibilities.

  • Confidence using a wide range of IT tools, including Google Drive, Excel, Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel), Asana etc.

  • Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or CRM tools is a plus, but not required.

  • Experience in tourism, hospitality, events, or logistics preferred, but not required.

  • Located in or near Prague, Czechia, or willing to relocate (hybrid office model).

The chosen candidate will undergo a 3-month probationary period and is expected to undertake an onboarding training program to understand all trip planning methodology, utilizing new technologies as necessary.

Starting remuneration for this position will be 43,000 CZK per month, with an increase to 45,000 CZK per month following successful completion of the probation period.
