International Business Development Manager, English

SmithNovak is an events company creating international conferences for the Financial Services industry, with events taking place in cities including London, Madrid, Frankfurt, Munich and more.
With the addition of new events to our portfolio, we are now looking to recruit a results-orientated Business Development Manager, as a key new member of our team.
THE ROLE
Working with a Team Leader, you will build strong relationships with clients all around the globe selling Sponsorship packages and Entrance Tickets to attend and partner our events.

SPECIFIC TASKS
Research markets and companies for leads
Find and contact potential customers by email, Linkedin, and by phone
Write compelling business Emails, send offers, discuss joining options
Negotiate prices and terms, close contracts
Build lasting relationships
Assist with the overall completion of events, including on-site attendance from time-to-time
Bring your ideas and energy to ensure events are well-attended
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
Proficient English: you must be able to speak and write a very high level of English
A second European language such as Spanish, German, French, Italian or Greek would be highly desirable, but not essential
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Ideally you will have at least 3-5 years of commercial business experience in a Sales, Customer Service, Purchasing or a Recruitment environment where you have developed skills and confidence in communicating with external partners, in ENGLISH.

We offer a good base salary with significant performance-based commissions and the opportunity to become a key figure in a growing and dynamic team. Our events take place around Europe and you will have the opportunity to travel 3-4 times per year to some of the most exciting cities in Europe.
