Would you like to earn an internationally accredited master’s degree in International Business while living in Prague? Would you like to study with a highly diverse group of motivated students?

The Prague University of Economics and Business (VSE) – one of CEE’s top ranked business universities – offers a two year full-time master’s programme in International Business taught entirely in English. The IB programme has the internationally recognized EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development) accreditation. VSE is a leading business university in Central and Eastern Europe (Eduniversal ranking) with about 14 000 students and 700 professors, and its graduates are highly demanded by both the private and public sectors.

The International Business – Central European Business Realities master’s programme was established to address the specificities and characteristics of the Central European business environment within the framework of the increasing trends of globalization. The programme is aimed at preparing students for their management tasks and leadership roles in a multicultural entrepreneurial environment, in either national or multinational companies. It provides students with a comprehensive business education in the main fields of economics, management, finance, marketing and negotiations and with in-depth knowledge and skills, reflecting both global and specific Central European economic and business trends.

After successful completion of the programme, students´ management abilities will include an interdisciplinary approach to the management of complex processes in the European and particularly Central European markets. Graduates will be able to bridge the theoretical prerequisites and practical applications, to analyze regional European markets in connection with their national specificities and historical developments, to develop business strategies tailored to European realities, to consider the financial aspects of their decisions and to successfully apply intercultural differences in various negotiations.

One unique strength about the IB programme is its double degree opportunities. Students have the option of spending their second year abroad at one of our partner universities: Université Jean Moulin, Lyon 3 (France); Hochschule Mainz (Germany); Management Center Innsbruck (Austria), International University in Geneva (Switzerland), Warsaw School of Economics (Poland), Linnaeus University (Sweden) or the University of Vaasa and Lappeenranta University of Technology (both Finland). Students can then graduate with a double degree, obtaining diplomas from both VSE and one of the partner schools.

Another unique aspect of the programme is its strong international student diversity. Participants come from all over the world – currently, IB students come from more than 20 different countries. You will literally be immersed in an international environment throughout your master’s studies! VSE is centrally located only one stop from the main train station and three stops from Wenceslas Square.
