Really Disappointing

Reviewed by Preetinder Dhaliwal 14.05.2007
My wife and I have been going to Indian Restaurant Rasoi for some time now. Food there is great but the prices are really high, so we can afford to go there only once in a while. After reading the reviews about tandoor, we decided to try it out yesterday and I have to say it was really disappointing. Firstly the name is misleading as the place does not seem to have any tandoor (or no naan's). Samosas were really terrible as they were... read more

Perhaps I shouldn't compare an indian restaurant from the Czech Republic with one from my native UK especially when I've never been to India! But, in the 2 and a half years I've lived in Prague I've striven, in vain, to find a pallatable restaurant from the indian sub-continent... Until now. I don't normally order my favourite dish here- lamb jalfrezi - because I end up dissapointed. Not so with this place. The other half says the same about her chicken... read more

Curry that tastes like a curry

By far the best Indian food I have had so far in Prague. Tonight I ordered butter chicken and a chicken vindaloo, along with samosas and rice pilao. Butter chicken and the vindaloo were excellent, they actually had flavor and the sauce was nice and thick. The samosas were a little bit bland which is the only reason I'm not rating as 10. Best part is they will deliver from P6 to P2 at a cheap price.
