Tandoor King restaurant is a traditional Indian non-smoking restaurant in the historical spa town of Karlovy Vary.
The restaurant is located in a hidden place courtyard side of the residential building in the center of Karlovy Vary. The restaurant was built on the ground floor. The interior is simple but cozy. Our journey started in March 2022, intending to bring authentic Indian cuisine to Karlovy Vary. We endeavor not only to stay as close as possible to the original recipe but also to cater to the initial palate.

The best Indian dishes and recipes worldwide well known like Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka, and all other specialties made in Tandoor, Shahi Paneer, and all types of dishes contain paneer – homemade cheese, Dal Makhani, Chana Masala, etc. Indian breads – chapatis, roti, naans, and paranthas. You can find all of them and more traditional Indian dishes on our menu plus other Indian specialties like Chicken Madras or Vindaloo, Chicken korma, chicken chana, and chicken palak. Our cooks use mostly fresh vegetables and meat and original Indian ingredients and spices. We prepare an everyday wide range of vegetarian dishes, juicy chicken and tender lamb dishes, fish, and prawns. A lot of dishes are prepared in a tandoor clay oven. All this makes the service and food highly authentic and traditional.
