I am a clinical psychologist with over 20 years of experience, offering a range of psychological services in a comfortable, professional, and peaceful setting in Prague-1.
My specialization in therapy is treatment of anxiety disorders (especially panic attacks, over-worry, and phobias), with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). If you or someone you care about has panic attacks, CBT can bring relief in as little as a six to eight sessions.
I also help people overcome phobias (such as fear of spiders) and manage anxiety associated with medical procedures (such as injections).
I also specialize in assessment of learning problems (such as dyslexia and ADHD) in school-aged children. If someone you love is struggling in school, I can help you figure out why, and what can be done to help them.
I also provide comprehensive pediatric neuropsychological assessment and case management for children who have medical disorders affecting learning or cognition (such as epilepsy), and are under the care of a pediatric neurologist or other medical professional.
I also provide diagnostic services to help adults suffering from ADHD and suspected, undiagnosed learning disabilities. These issues can affect employment, career advancement, and relationships. Having a better understanding of why things keep going wrong can help you get the help you need to perform and feel better.
I also offer a variety of other, specialized assessments for adolescents and adults in transition make decisions about the “Next Steps” in their lives, including post-secondary education and occupational goals.
I completed my doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of Minnesota, and my psychology internship at Vancouver Hospital, in Vancouver, British Columbia. I completed a post-doctoral fellowship in Pediatric Neuropsychology at the University of Minnesota Medical School, where I later became a member of the faculty in Pediatrics and Neurology.
I'm trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Health Psychology, and I'm board-certified in Pediatric Neuropsychology.
