The Prague Playhouse Acting Studioteaches serious acting for adults in Czech and English. Started by local Expat Brian Caspe, an experienced actor, the Playhouse has been producing theater and teaching acting since 2003.

There are several classes available depending on your schedule and level of experience. We are expanding the focus of our classes to include Czechs who want to work on their English while acting, Teenagers and Models. We will be adding more classes in the coming months.

The acting classes are based on Meisner technique, which is a very specific way of working on the problem of being truthful and "in the moment". Students are encouraged to read (a reading list is provided) as well as experience arts and cultural events. The technique is ideal for those who have no experience in acting.
