Luka Lu Restaurant

The name of this restaurant means Lu harbor, and its atmosphere, interior and menu really do capture the essence of a lovely Mediterranean harbor. The unusually colorful and cheerful restaurant includes paintings of fishermen's boats on the walls, a friendly and helpful staff that make you feel at home, and a menu that offers mainly traditional Balkan cuisine with some inspiration from the other side of the Adriatic. Most meals in the menu are not overly complicated, they are mainly prepared according to traditional recipes, but the results are extremely enjoyable with all the ingredients keeping their natural flavors. Luka Lu is a must for all the seafood lovers, as well as for all those who look for healthier lifestyle choices, as the Chef takes pride in always offering his customers plenty of fresh vegetables, a variety of fish, and other fruits of the sea. We especially recommend the traditionally prepared octopus. Luka Lu is a peaceful harbor in the pulsating city of Prague, a harbor full of an unpretentious warm atmosphere and delicious meals, which do not ruin your body or budget. Enjoy a holiday by the sea without leaving the beautiful historical quarter of Mala Strana. We recommend checking out the extraordinary winter garden with a glass roof.

Portions are large, and with focus on meat and potatoes, it is best to come to Luka Lu with a big appetite. The service is friendly and sometimes... read more

I'd particularly recommend the seafood soup appetizer - very large portion, and it was delicious. The lamb was also good, but it didn't come close to the soup. It got very crowded around 7pm - we had called in a reservation and we were lucky to have done so. The only real drawback was that the service,... read more
