Without investors, without money, without employees, with masks due to covid, without a real idea of what awaits us. The fear of a pandemic has replaced the fear of inflation due to the current situation in the world, and we in the Prague suburb called Strašnice feel every gust of these events. For many people in the neighborhood, we are still aliens. We don't just serve one course. We're not open seven days a week, and you can't come to us for draft coffee or beer either. We serve fresh ingredients from local sources that we can stand behind, from people we know. We don't waste. We sort and compost. We started grinding my own flour. We recognize organic and at the same time know that certification alone is not everything. We approach ingredients, food and you customers as if we were hosting friends at our home. And actually, at Leaf we are more than at home. After years spent working in high-end foreign restaurants, we try our best on our own T-shirt. Thanks to you, Bára and Michal
