IEUSC provides independent university guidance and educational consulting for students and families in Czechia who want to explore higher-education opportunities locally and abroad. We help students identify academic pathways that match their interests, abilities and ambitions, discover university options they may not have previously considered, and make informed decisions about their future.
Our services focus particularly on English-taught degree programmes and international universities in Europe, the UK, the USA and beyond. We support students with university and degree research, comparing institutions and admissions requirements, application planning, scholarships, study costs and funding options. We can also help students prepare for university applications and identify the next steps towards studying abroad.
IEUSC offers individual consultations, tailored university research, application guidance and educational support for students at different stages of their academic journey. We also provide English tutoring and exam preparation for secondary-school and university students, including support with academic English, language proficiency and preparation for university study.
IEUSC is a British Council Advantage Programme Member, and as such we offer tailored and specific materials to prepare for exams like the FCE, CAE, CPE, IELTS, and more.
Our approach is independent and student-centred. IEUSC receives no commissions, payments or preferential treatment from universities, allowing guidance to focus on each student's individual profile and educational goals rather than institutional partnerships. We aim to help students connect their interests and strengths with realistic academic opportunities, while giving families clearer information about university choices, admissions, costs and funding.
Founded by Abigail Mokra, MA et MA, PhD, a native American English speaker, the IEUSC team draws on over ten years of experience teaching at Czech universities and advising secondary-school and university students. Consultations are available online, making specialist guidance accessible to students and families in Czechia and internationally.
