My name is John Paul Franke, and I am a native american living in prague. I am opening a martial arts school under the EBMAS foundation for people who want to learn REAL self-defense, without acrobatics, showy poses, and flashy moves that may look cool but don't work outside the classroom. Based on the 4 scientific dimensions and conservation of energy, wing chun is fast, effective, practical, and useable by men AND women alike. You will learn to over-power your opponent using his own strength simply by being grounded, flexible, fast, and dynamic.
EBMAS (Emin Bozetepe Martial Arts System) follows a very comprehensible series of programs designed by Grandmaster Emin Bozetepe that will teach a student not only fighitng techniques, but fighting mentality as well. Programs consist of learning the Wing Chun forms, footwork, techniques, and most importantly, practical applications of techniques as they would be used in a real street fight situation without rules and boundaries.
Wing chun begins where other martial arts end- at close range. On the street there is no referee to break up the fighters, so wing chun specializes in close-range techniques.
