For 15 years, Prague's top vegetarian restaurant

Reviewed by Jason Pirodsky 18.06.2019
When Lehká hlava opened almost 15 years ago, it was a beacon of light for vegetarians in Prague who struggled to find a full-fledged vegetarian dining experience in the city. The cuisine, while still first-rate, has been equaled or surpassed by other vegetarian restaurants in the years since (Etnosvět), and vegetarian cuisine is no longer a rarity in Prague. Best Vegetarian, Best Quality

It's very hard to get a table here, especially if you have a big group, but it's a small space. The food is amazing for Prague standards and comparatively, the prices aren't bad. The waiters aren't amazing and they might forget your order a few times, but despite that, it's okay. The potatoes au gratin ARE AMAZING. ORDER THEM OR FOREVER REGRET YOUR LIFE DECISIONS. Enjoy your stay in Prague!

over famed Vegetarian Restuarant

Place is small but cute, has a nice atmosphere. Menu is not bad, service is slow but definitely above Prague standards. On the other hand, due to busy Saturday evenings, their treatment to customers can change in a bad way, that reveals their lack of professionalism. Don't be sad if it's all booked on a Friday or Saturday evening. Not worth to push it

The service, though friendly, is extremely slow - don't go there if you're in a rush. It's a popular place, so be sure to reserve a table well ahead of... read more

Mmmm... Vegetarian Heaven

If you prefer vegetarian food or just healthy food choices in general, don't look no further - Lehka Hlava is definitely one of the best options in Prague. Located conveniently in the city centre, this restaurant not only has a beautifully designed unique interior but serves delicious, fresh and great quality food. My favourite on their menu is their grilled goat cheese with green leaves and cranberry sauce and their own version of a... read more
