Auberge de Provence

Auberge de Provence is a romantic French restaurant and Family Hotel headed by our French Chef Patrick Oliver and by Maître Hôtelier Ludo Van den Bergh. Together we combine the best traditional French dishes with wonderful wines or Belgium beers. Auberge de Provence is an intimate hill side restaurant and hotel. Located in a 17th-century former Jesuit monastery overlooking Tuchoměřice and beyond, the restaurant has garnered acclaim not only for its picturesque setting, but for its unique French restaurant, too. The low wooden beams and stone walls decorated with dry flowers, mounted antlers, and old family photographs gives our restaurant a rustic, cozy feel, like we'd happened upon somebody's private country retreat. We bring our guests in a radius of 12km free of charge home!

At Auberge we are doing something different than many restaurants, we are making the kind of straight forward, rustic fare that people really crave.

The service at Auberge is welcoming and natural. At Auberge we have live music on Saturday nights, our staff also organize your party, conferences and weddings. And with a children's menu and outdoor playground, it's a popular place for families to visit, as well. In the summertime, there's terrace seating and an outdoor grill, but with its cast-iron furnace and snug interior, the restaurant is just as appealing for the wintertime ( special menus will be on offer for Christmas and New Year's Eve). The cosy romantic interior of our hotel with his original thick stone walls and wooden beams has one apartment with two double bedrooms, living, kitchen and bathroom fully accessible for eldery and handicapped people. Beside that we have 9 beautiful double bedrooms each with en suite bathroom and all modern comfort , TV, internet and WIFI. All rooms have windows with view to nature or to our gardens.

Let me give you some advice: make the trip. It's just past Ruzyně airport, but it feels like a different country altogether. Bon Appetite!

Visited yesterday evening with 4 children. They had just finished some outdoor swings and play house - children thought is was wonderful. Also ducks, chickens, rabbits etc. to look at. We could order while they were playing outside and came in when the food was ready. Meals were excellent, especially the pork with plums. Small indoor play area with toys was a nice distraction for our 2 year old twins while we had coffee. All in all a... read more
