Alensa company operates more than 40 e-shops for contact lenses, spectacles, and sunglasses in 26 European Union countries, Switzerland, Norway, Ukraine, and Russia. Currently, they belong in every country where they operate among the three largest online retailers of contact lenses. In the Czech Republic, for example, they operate e-shop Alensa.cz and has nearly half a million customers; throughout Europe around 5 million customers. Alensa sells only original contact lenses and glasses supplied by authorized and well known distributors. Currently they are offering more than 4,000 spectacle frames online and hold stock 99 % combinations of contact lenses. The turnover of Alensa company in 2018 exceeded 1.1 billion Czech crowns, making it one of the largest players on the Czech e-commerce market. Owners of the company are Radek Hejl and JSK Investments, s.r.o. of the spouses Jaromir and Simona Kijonkovi, who are also co-owners of technological and logistics company Zásilkovna.
