For the next few days Festival Park will act as the hub for some good clean fun and rock and roll!

The first day kicked off with some unseasonal weather and performances from Třinec natives Charlie Straight. A raucus performance from the up-and-coming stars despite the rainy weather! By Wednesday, high temperatures arrived with the afternoon’s performance from Pennsylvanian band August Burns Red, which attracted a respectable number of eager spectators for their late afternoon show. The band, famous for their epic musical breakdowns, played an impressive show for the appreciative audience, and even encouraged participation from their metal-core admirers. August Burns Red beckoned RFP’s first “wall of death'” with members of the crowd literally throwing themselves to the band’s trademark odd-meter riffs.

Nothing but mud and good vibes!

British representatives Two Door Cinema Club played a blinding set over at the Staropramen Cool Lemon Stage, providing the perfect soundtrack to the early evening sweltering heat. The band effortlessly ran through their hits from their award winning album for the large audience, who openly showed their glee with their hands reaching for the blue skies of Festival Park.

Scottish chart-toppers Franz Ferdinand played a good show, taking time out between songs to practise their Czech lingo! A brave task in front of thousands of people but the loud cheers reflected the crowd’s amusement.
