Choketopus Gym was founded in 2012 by two friends, who wanted to share their experience and knowledge in Israeli self-defence system called Krav Maga. Along the way they were joined by new brilliant people and the community grew not only in numbers, but also in activities. Since 2017 Choketopus Gym provides Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes, as well as membership in gym equiped for functional and strenght training.
Our goal is to provide a learning platform and allow our students to get better at what they do by learning priciples, not techniques. We believe that this approach has long reaching benefits that shorten the time to acquire basic skills, but it also improves quality of life outside the gym.
We believe that challenged mind and body keeps you young, so we also focus on ohter activities than training. We organize summer camps for adults and kids, seminars on various topics such as first aid or sport nutrition. Our coaches walk the talk and they keep learning and improving in what they love the most.
