Hi! My name is Monika and I am passionate about languages, English and Czech in particular. I've been teaching languages for over 10 years to students of all ages and levels of competency, from beginners to advanced speakers.
My interest in teaching developed while I was in my final year at grammar school when I decided to study a Masters Degree in Education, with a focus on Primary School in particular. After completion of the degree in 2010, I decided to make one of my dreams come true and moved to Australia.
As my English skills improved over the years I decided to pursue another Masters Degree, this time in Applied Linguistics and TESOL at Macquarie University in Sydney.
Over the past decade, I have taught at the Czech and Slovak School of Sydney, working with school aged classes as well as adult classes that target learners from different language backgrounds wishing to master the Czech language.
I have taught English to a range of international students (levels A1 to C1) at language schools, in person and remotely online.
If you are in the Prague, Usti nad Labem, Decin, Teplice regions of the Czech Republic please let me know if you would like to discuss face to face lessons.
Otherwise I provide online lessons to individuals and groups of people around the world including Australia, so distance is no barrier.
