About Me
I am a US-certified elementary teacher with 20+ years of teaching experience and a Master’s degree in International Education. I have lived in Prague since 2006 and speak intermediate Czech, which is especially helpful when working with children and beginners.

I offer:

* Conversation-focused English for adults who want engaging lessons with clear feedback and structure

Teaching Experience & Focus
* Former Head of the English Department at a bilingual primary school in Prague
* Extensive experience teaching Grades 1–5 in multilingual settings
* Experience preparing 5th graders for English exams similar to Cambridge PET (B1)
* Experience teaching adults: conversation, vocabulary development, speaking confidence, and accuracy
* For children, I can provide English instruction across subjects (Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies). This is especially helpful for students who:
- previously attended international schools
- are transitioning into Czech schools
- want to maintain academic English alongside Czech education

Lesson Style
My lessons are interactive, personalized, and student-centered.
For children, I focus on strong academic foundations, confidence, and clear structure while keeping lessons fun and engaging and tailored to the student's individual needs.
For adults, especially conversation students, lessons are natural and engaging while still providing clear corrections and focused feedback.

Practical Information
Locations:
- Near Jiřího z Poděbrad
- Client’s home or nearby cafés
- Conversation lessons can also be arranged in a café (including a local cat café, by agreement)
