Description of the position:

What we DO offer is a unique opportunity to contribute to further development of our programme for 6-11age group children, where we combine Czech state school curriculum with project based lessons and English language classes. You will be teaching (i) English to prepare the pupils for passing Cambridge English tests (YLE) and (ii) project based lessons according to our curriculum and (iii) teaching older children conversational English.
In addition to your support of in-class teaching, the working hours would also include preparation work, parent meetings, preparation of weekly reports, daily communication with other English and Czech teachers, staff meetings, communication with parents and extracurricular activities such as Christmas market, Halloween, orientation week, 3 Saturdays ´ field trips, etc. The position is full time.
Location:
The school is located in beautiful suburbs only about 30 minutes by public transport from the city center. The class will have between 18 and 24 children with 1 teacher and 1 assisting teacher present.
A must have:
A university degree
Native English speaker
Dynamic and enthusiastic teacher who loves small children
Creative and positive spirit
Organized, reliable and flexible
Willigness to learn new things
Nice to have:
Experience with teaching
PGCE degree or equivalent
