PE & Second English Teacher

Compass Primary School, located in Prague 4 – Kunratice, is looking for a new colleague to join our growing team from mid-November.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has excellent English proficiency (native or near-native level)

• Has experience teaching PE or leading activities with primary-aged children

• Holds a relevant qualification (e.g. a degree in Education, CELTA, DELTA, TEFL, or similar)

• Is enthusiastic, reliable, and enjoys working as part of a team

• Is willing to contribute to extracurricular activities and school events

This is a full-time position within our English Department, combining PE teaching, English support, and extracurricular activities.

The role includes:

• Teaching PE to all year groups – six to eight 45-minute lessons per week

• Co-teaching prepared English lessons across all year groups – six to eight 45-minute lessons per week

• Organising and coordinating afterschool activities throughout the week – five 60-minute blocks per week

• Supervising children after school until parents pick them up

• Participating in school events (ie. ski trips, swim trips, project weeks, and field trips)

• Working closely with the English team
