Digital Operations Associate
The Digital Operations Associate plays a key operational role in supporting the day-to-day management, maintenance, and ongoing development of the Project Syndicate website, its subdomains, and its integrations with third-party applications. Working closely with the Product and Analytics Manager and the digital team, the role contributes to both existing platforms and new initiatives, helping ensure that performance, monetization efforts, and user experience meet organizational expectations.
Designed as a collaborative and adaptive position, it supports the smooth operation of digital platforms and provides assistance across marketing, analytics and reporting, publishing, advertising, and other workflows, as needed.
Core Responsibilities:
Support the maintenance of the PS website and relevant subdomains
Troubleshooting and ticketing of website problems
Assist with the implementation and testing of new features, builds, and updates
Execution of onsite marketing campaigns, website push notifications, automated emails, and notifications
Manage customer support inquiries, including managing individual subscription requests
Regular monitoring of partner media outlets and extra searching for syndicated publications
Support internal teams with reporting, advertising workflows, and other operational tasks as required
Advise on potential changes to products and processes based on user experience and data
Recommend and assist in implementing improvements to web-based admin systems
Requirements:
Familiarity with current web standards
Demonstrable troubleshooting and problem-solving skills (promptly diagnose and resolve website issues)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Professional proficiency in English
Preferred:
Experience with HTML/CSS/CMS systems
Experience in website analytics tools and reporting/ticketing dashboards (GA4, Marfeel, Tableau, Jira, etc.)
Base-level understanding of APIs, FTP servers, and SSO configurations (OpenAthens, Shibboleth)
Familiarity with integrating SDKs and third-party applications
