I'm Andrey Kovalov, a tattoo artist working in a private studio in Prague 2, Vinohrady, one minute from I. P. Pavlova.
I do fine line, microrealism and black & grey realism. No colour. What I like most is slow, close work on a small area, where you draw out the shadows, the transitions and the half-tones. Antique sculpture is what I feel closest to, so in my portfolio that tends to be angels and archangels, Greek mythology, Medusa. Those are my own preferences rather than a menu, so bring your own idea and we will work it out.
Every design is drawn from scratch for one person and is never repeated. I trained as an architect and spent five years in UX design before tattooing, which is why I build a piece around the anatomy and the movement of the body rather than as a flat picture.
How it works: one client at a time, by appointment only. The consultation is free and the design is included in the price. Instruments are single use and I open them in front of you, and the pigments are EU certified under REACH. I hold the Czech tattoo qualification 69-034-M.
Small work starts at 2500 CZK, medium at 5000, large at 7500. The exact quote comes after the consultation.
