Up Yours, Jama!

Forget this place! I've tried it several times, and nearly every time I've left feeling like a schmuck who was just treated like dirt. There;s plenty of other places that provide VASTLY superior service. The Jama chicks flat out ignore you if you're not with several other people, even at lunch time when plenty of people eat alone. I won't be back. I've been treated lousy by their lousy waitstaff too many times. Max, or whatever is the owner's... read more

Went to the 17th anniversary party Saturday night. Really great atmosphere all night. I was there from 7pm. Free finger food and beer until 8, a great idea. Cowboy/girl theme, barmaids and waitresses in great costumes, live honky tonk music and more alcohol = perfect party! Roll on the 18th.

Happy Hours

I have started to use the original Jama pub/restaurant on a regular basis these past couple of weeks. When you find a pub selling beer for 25 kc in the very centre of Prague it is rude not to go back, and back again. I have a lot of afternoons off work,so i can get down between 4 and 6. The Happy Hours. Plus the girls working there make it hard to ever leave anyway. Every hour feels to be Happy here.

The classic Jama Hot Brownie for dessert made it a most enjoyable meal. As a group of English expats away from our families the girls working made our day feel really good. Thanks a million ladies. Same next year (but with turkey on the 25th!... read more

Honeymoon

Had the perfect honeymoon in Prague, walking miles in the process. During one long walk my husband pointed out Jama 'the hollow'. It was a good choice. We spent an hour or 3 every day here. We loved the food and the staff treated us so good we felt like old friends. We had breakfast, lunch and late-night meals over the course of our stay and all were generous in proportion as well as value for money. The bar closes at 1 am. At which point the... read more
