Just 15 minutes from Prague city centre, Buddha Beach Bar offers a unique summer experience directly on the naturist beach at Hostivař Reservoir. Surrounded by nature and overlooking the lake, it is one of Prague's hidden summer gems where visitors can relax, swim, enjoy great food and drinks, and escape the busy city atmosphere.
During the day, guests come for sunbathing, swimming and lakeside relaxation. The bar serves a wide selection of cocktails, beer, wine, soft drinks and coffee, alongside Czech, Asian and international cuisine at reasonable prices. Whether you're looking for a refreshing drink after a swim or a full meal by the water, Buddha Beach Bar provides a laid-back beach atmosphere rarely found in a European capital city.
With any purchase, guests can enjoy complimentary access to sun loungers, rowboats, board games, Wi-Fi and phone charging facilities.
One of the highlights of the venue is its stunning location directly on the waterfront. As the sun sets over the reservoir, the lake reflects golden and orange colours, creating one of Prague's most beautiful summer sunset spots.
On selected weekends, the venue hosts beach parties, DJ sets and special events, bringing a lively holiday atmosphere to the shores of Hostivař Reservoir.
Buddha Beach Bar is open daily from May to September during sunny weather, typically from 11:00 AM until 11:00 PM or later. Card payments are accepted.
Guests may remain fully clothed in the bar area, while nudity is required on the naturist beach and in the water. During the evening, many visitors choose to dress again, and bringing a light jacket or sweater is recommended as temperatures near the lake can become cooler after sunset.
Forgot your towel? Clean towels are available for rent directly at the bar for a small fee.
The bar is located on the naturist beach of Hostivař Reservoir and can be reached either from the main entrance at K Jezeru Street (approximately a 10-minute walk) or from the rear entrance at Výstavní 1, Prague-Háje, followed by a pleasant 8-minute walk through the woods directly to the beach.
