On October 5th, 1842, the first original Pilsner lager of Pilsner Urquell was brewed. To mark the 170th anniversary, Pilsner threw a jubilee celebration at Plzeň’s Náměstí Republiky, with a rich entertainment program brought by the Pilsen Philharmonic in connection with Michal Pavlíček, audiovisual show videomapping, and the unusual circus and dance performance Décalages. 1,700 unfiltered Pilsner Urquell beers were poured from five symbolic oak barrels to celebrate!
