Invite your four-legged friends and enjoy the Volkswagen Marathon Weekend together at the Pedigree®Walk with Dogs!


Owners as well as their four-legged canine friends are invited to come and enjoy the pre-race atmosphere of the Volkswagen Marathon Weekend at the second annual Pedigree®Walk with Dogs, which will be held on 7 May from 4:00 p.m.

The Pedigree®Walk with Dogs is one of the accompanying non-competitive events that invites its participants to enjoy a lovely walk through Stromovka Park, with the start and finish in front of the Marathon Sport Expo at the Exhibition Grounds in Prague 7 – Holesovice. The event is suitable for children, adults and even whole families. Special starting numbers are prepared for both owners and their dogs, and each participant can look forward to a commemorative medal at the end of the walk.

In addition, you can enjoy other canine entertainment and feats of agility including a session of Dog Dancing. Furthermore, you can learn about dog training and obedience through demonstrations of the training of guide and rescue dogs. Your pets can then be rewarded for all of their hard work and sample delicacies of the Pedigree® product line!

Last year, about 400 dogs took part in the Pedigree®Walk with Dogs, and we are expecting an even larger participant pool for this year. Once again, Mars, the manufacturer of Pedigree®, will donate 1 kg of feed to local dog shelters for each participant.

Kids up to 15 years – 50CZK
Adults – 150 CZK
Seniors above 65 years – 50 CZK
Dogs – 50 CZK
