Holiday Giving with Expats.cz

Over the next month, we´ll be bringing you profiles of local non-profit organizations that could use your help. People in Need is an international aid organization; Kocky-online.cz is an association of cat shelters across the Czech Republic; Betel helps young, at-risk men addicted to alcohol or drugs put their lives back together and find new meaning by engaging them in work and finally, Světluška is a long running and important project of the National Fund of Czech Radio that helps children and adults with severe sight disorders.

A simple way to put a smile on a child´s face this Christmas is to participate in our yearly holiday project. Expats.cz has teamed up with Vienna International Hotels & Resorts to help some needy children living in two area children´s homes: Charlotty Masarykové in Prague 5 and the children´s home in Zruč nad Sázavou. We hope to not only improve the children’s living environment, but also fulfill some personal wishes. A wish list will be posted on our website, and you´ll have the opportunity to purchase the items requested. We ask that you then notify us so we can take the item off the list.
