Professional skin care brand comes to Mod's Hair Staff

Dermalogica, the world´s leading professional skin care brand is to open at Mod´s Hair in OC Palladium, Prague´s premier shopping centre.  From Friday 23rd April, customers will be able to experience Dermalogica´s revolutionary skin care products and skin treatments, as well as some other unique services.

Founded in Los Angeles in 1986 by Jane and Ray Wurwand, Dermalogica began a “quiet revolution” in skin care that is now a globally respected phenomenon.  Today, Dermalogica is available in 50 countries and is used and recommended by over 75 000 skin therapists around the world.  With a cult following ranging from professional skin therapists to Hollywood celebrities and make up artists, Dermalogica is acknowledged as the brand that is redefining the way that consumers think about their skin.

Among many of Dermalogica´s “firsts” was the decision to leave out of the products many of the common irritants which ultimately led to skin sensitization – fragrance, colour, lanolin, alcohol, mineral oils, and formaldehyde.  And at the time – and even today – a visionary decision to simplify packaging so that every penny of the cost was invested in the ingredients.

Amongst the ground breaking Dermalogica products that will be available at Mod´s Hair are PreCleanse – a plant-based cleansing oil that is the first step in Dermalogica´s signature double cleanse, Daily Microfoliant – a unique rice bran based enzyme powder that is a gentle daily-use exfoliant, and Total Eye Care – the only AHA, spf15 eye treatment that also has optical diffusers to minimize dark circles.

The signature Dermalogica Skin Treatment – or facial – lasts between 1 to 1.5 hours.  Unlike other brands, there is no treatment menu to choose from.  The Dermalogica Skin Therapist will analyse the client´s skin, and then tailor-make the treatment so that the skin gets exactly what it needs at that particular time.  With Dermalogica, there is just one treatment – that is different every time!

In addition to Dermalogica products and skin treatments, customers will be able to experience Face Mapping, Dermalogica´s unique skin analysis system.  Customers can also take a seat at the Dermalogica Skin Bar, where they can test and try for themselves Dermalogica products the way they are meant to be used – on their face, all under the guidance of a trained Dermalogica Skin Therapist!  Face Mapping and Skin Bar are free of charge and will be available every day at Mod´s Hair. And from Thursday 29th April until 2nd May, a Dermalogica “pop up” Skin Bar will also be found on the -1 floor, where customers can also experience Skin Bar and Face Mapping, or just call in for advice and information on Dermalogica products.
