This role is critical to ensuring our procurement team can deliver on sourcing projects in the ASG region (Austria, Switzerland, Germany) ranging from catering, cleaning and office services to finding the right suppliers and partnering with internal functions to provide best in class employee experience in our many office locations. As a Procurement Specialist, you will:
Contract Management:
Negotiate and deploy Accenture contracts to suppliers, including best practices, metrics, and SLAs, in collaboration with the Legal department;
Ensure the implementation of Local Country Addendum to global/regional agreements;
Ensuring compliance throughout the contracting agreements and process aligned with organizational policies.
Stakeholder Management:
Manage stakeholder relationships and provide an escalation point for sourcing challenges;
Act as a point of contact and advise stakeholders on procurement best practices and recommend course of action;
Collaborate with multiple departments (Category, Procurement, Legal, Operations) to solve day-to-day challenges and ensure open communication paths.
Sourcing Management:
Support the rollout of global/regional sourcing initiatives within ASG under the guidance of your Procurement Lead;
Leverage standard sourcing methodology to achieve significant value in sourcing, negotiation, and contracting;
Provide support in upfront market research and supplier identification;
Prepare recommendation reports for stakeholders to aid in supplier selection;
Follow internal processes end to end and provide insight and updates to the procurement team.
Supplier Management:
Promote greater use of Global or Regional Strategic Providers;
Manage local supplier relationships in line with Accenture’s Global Category and 360 Value Management strategy;
Monitor contract commercial terms and performance;
Promote Sustainability topics in the Supplier Relationship.
Deploy & Adhere to Global Procurement Process:
Support the development of global end-to-end procurement processes, templates, and tools when applicable;
Modify processes to meet unique regional category-specific requirements;
Review KPIs related to categories (PSL usage, Contract compliance, savings targets) and take appropriate actions;
Analyze data to provide new insights internally and towards data.
Job Qualifications
Ideally, you also bring the following:
Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, procurement, or comparable professional education.
Minimum 3 years' experience in Procurement or the Facilities Management Industry, with proven experience in sourcing and contract negotiation.
Excellent relationship management and communication skills.
Ability to work in a matrix organization and manage multiple projects.
Fluent in English and German.
