We are currently searching for a Payroll Specialist to join the EMEA Payroll team of our international client, a global company operating in the pharmaceutical industry.
The position is based in Prague and focuses on ensuring accurate payroll processing for assigned markets across the EMEA region, mainly Israel.
You will cooperate closely with HR, Finance, Tax teams and external payroll providers while supporting compliant and efficient payroll operations in an international environment.
We are looking for Junior or Medior level candidates.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-end payroll processing for assigned entities within EMEA region, mainly Israel
Ensuring payroll accuracy and compliance with local legislation
Maintaining employee and salary data in payroll systems
Managing payroll controls and audit requirements (SOX compliance)
Supporting payroll reporting and preparation of payroll documentation
Handling payroll-related queries from employees and stakeholders
Cooperating with HR Shared Services, HR Business Partners and Finance teams
Supporting process improvements and payroll standardization initiatives
Participating in payroll-related projects and continuous improvement activities
Requirements
Experience in Payroll OR strong Finance background (payroll experience preferred)
Experience working in an international or shared service environment
Experience working with outsourced payroll vendors (e.g. ADP, Celergo) is an advantage
Knowledge of HR/payroll systems such as Workday or SAP is a plus
Strong organizational and communication skills
High level of confidentiality and attention to detail
Czech residency card or European citizenship
Languages
Hebrew – mandatory (B2-C1 minimum)
English – professional working proficiency
