The Migration Team within FNZ is accountable for managing the end-to-end delivery lifecycle for all Migration projects. In this newly created opportunity, you will join the Migrations team and assume responsibility for testing the Migration Process, ensuring that Migration activities are delivered to a superior quality standard. You will work both independently and within a team to analyze, determine, and execute internal testing requirements. Collaborating with other Analyst Testers, the Migration Test Lead and Senior Test Analysts, you will determine and identify any new testing requirements to ensure that testing specifications are delivered to the highest quality.
Given the complexity of the data migration function, and the sensitive nature of the data, quality assurance and data protection are essential components of this business-critical role.
Work with Migration Analyst-Developers and Testers to implement and execute data migration test strategies to ensure that the data migration has been achieved wholly and accurately with no data loss or incorrect transformation of data
Define test coverage to minimize data migration risk
Generate clear and concise summaries on defects, communicate these defects to Analyst-Developers as well as manage and review the defect resolution process
Provide clear and concise test status reporting and MI
Identify areas for test automation; develop and execute automated test scripts as required
Work closely with client testing representatives to understand and support client data migration testing and testing assurance activities
Conduct post-implementation testing.
Experienced in a Software Tester/Test Analyst role
Experienced in data migrations and/or ETL processes
Extensive knowledge and experience in RDBMS, data modeling, and SQL
High attention to detail
English on a communicative level
ISTQB Foundation qualified (preferred)
Experience/knowledge in test automation frameworks and tools would be an advantage
Analytical thinking, excellent communication, and time management skills
Familiarity with financial products and markets would be an advantage
